Whitestone REIT (NYSE: WSR), a fully integrated real estate company that
owns, re-develops, leases, manages, and operates Community Centered
PropertiesTM, announced that the Company and Walmart
Neighborhood Market have commenced a new lease at Whitestone’s
Marketplace at Central propertyin Phoenix, Arizona.
Whitestone has turned the space over to Walmart Neighborhood Market, who
will complete their build out of the store, with a planned mid-2014
grand opening.
James C. Mastandrea, Whitestone’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
said, “We continue to see significant progress on the leasing front with
the addition of Walmart Neighborhood Market to our Marketplace at
Central Community Centered PropertyTM. We expect robust
activity during 2014 as we continue to redevelop, re-tenant and increase
rents in our properties.”
